Coll MacDonald/Colla Dòmhnallach: audio
Coll was brought up in Braes in Skye in a Gaelic-speaking household and received Gaelic-medium education. Coll completed a degree in accountancy but is currently pursuing an alternative career as a traditional musician.
Deirdre Graham/Deirdre Ghreumach: audio
Deirdre is from Breakish in Skye and was educated through the medium of Gaelic from primary school onwards, having spoken both Gaelic and English at home. She graduated from RSAMD with a first in traditional music, specialising in clàrsach and Gaelic song.
Seònag Monk: audio
Seònag Monk is from Eochar in South Uist and is a well-known Gaelic broadcaster on both radio and television. She has written extensively for both children and adults, including screenplays, picture-books and novels.
Arthur Cormack/Art MacCarmaig: audio
Arthur is from Portree in Skye and has many strings to his bow! He is the director of Fèisean nan Gàidheal, a partner in the Mac-meanmna record label, a singer with the band Cliar and a well-known soloist. He is a member of Bòrd na Gàidhlig and has three children, all in Gaelic-medium education.
Norman Campbell/Tormod a' Bhocsair: audio
Norman hails from a dynasty of Gaelic poets and tradition-bearers from the Ness area of Lewis. He is well-known as a poet, novelist, translator and raconteur and has taught in schools throughout the islands.
Will Lamb: audio recording and mastering
Will originally hails from Baltimore
and learned Gaelic to fluency as an adult. An accomplished
traditional musician, he runs UHI/Benbecula College's Traditional
Music and Gaelic courses and has two children enrolled in
Gaelic-medium pre-school provision.
